Where is Niigata?
Niigata is located on the island of Honshu (=the mainland of Japan) on the coast of the Sea of Japan. It's just 2 hours from Tokyo by the Shinkansen train (Joetsu Shinkansen), which is so convenient for sightseeing.
What can we enjoy in Niigata?
Niigata is the best place to explore if you want to experience something different from such large cities as Tokyo, Osaka, or Kyoto. We're waiting for you with a number of activities: walking in breathtaking nature, enjoying skiing in vast snow resorts, tasting at finest sake breweries, savoring exquisite local dishes, visiting workshops that produce top-quality metal tools and so on!
